Key Responsibilities
Tenant Relations
- Market vacant units and run showings to attract quality tenants
- Negotiate and administer leases, applications, and background checks
- Collect security deposits and manage the move-in process
- Investigate and resolve tenant complaints promptly and professionally
- Enforce rules of occupancy with fairness and consistency
Property Operations
- Inspect vacant units and coordinate necessary repairs and touch-ups
- Plan and oversee renovations to maintain and grow property value
- Contract and supervise landscaping, snow removal, and building maintenance
- Maintain building systems through proactive service contracting
- Respond to property emergencies and ensure tenant safety
Portfolio Growth
- Manage and grow the long-term rental portfolio
- Develop creative solutions for operational and occupancy challenges
- Build strong relationships with property owners and investors
Requirements
- Must own a vehicle with a valid, clean driver’s licence
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Motivated by sales and leasing
- Highly organized and punctual
- Quick to respond — email, phone, and text
- Calm under pressure
- Kind and professional in all interactions
- Currently authorized to work in Canada on a full-time basis
