Key Responsibilities

Tenant Relations

  • Market vacant units and run showings to attract quality tenants
  • Negotiate and administer leases, applications, and background checks
  • Collect security deposits and manage the move-in process
  • Investigate and resolve tenant complaints promptly and professionally
  • Enforce rules of occupancy with fairness and consistency

Property Operations

  • Inspect vacant units and coordinate necessary repairs and touch-ups
  • Plan and oversee renovations to maintain and grow property value
  • Contract and supervise landscaping, snow removal, and building maintenance
  • Maintain building systems through proactive service contracting
  • Respond to property emergencies and ensure tenant safety

Portfolio Growth

  • Manage and grow the long-term rental portfolio
  • Develop creative solutions for operational and occupancy challenges
  • Build strong relationships with property owners and investors

Requirements

  • Must own a vehicle with a valid, clean driver’s licence
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Motivated by sales and leasing
  • Highly organized and punctual
  • Quick to respond — email, phone, and text
  • Calm under pressure
  • Kind and professional in all interactions
  • Currently authorized to work in Canada on a full-time basis
